PAYMENT POLICY

KAPITANO WILL UPDATE YOU WITH EXPECTED DELIVERY DATES ONCE PAYMENT IS COMPLETED. WE ACCEPT VALID VISA, MASTER AND AMEX DEBIT OR CREDIT CARDS. ALL PAYMENTS ARE CHARGED IN EUROS.

WARRANTY POLICY

KAPITANO TRUNKS ARE GUARANTEED FOR A PERIOD OF TWO YEARS FROM THE DATE OF PURCHASE. IF MISTREATED UNDER THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS, KAPITANO WILL NOT ASSUME RESPONSIBILITY FOR REPAIRS OR RETURNS.

  1. INVALID ITEM SERIAL NUMBER OR MISSING INFORMATION.

  2. WEAR AND TEAR, DAMAGED LINING AND DENTS ON THE TRUNKS BODY AND SURFACE.

  3. DAMAGE TO LOCKS CAUSED BY FORCING INCORRECT KEYS.

  4. DAMAGE CAUSED BY AIRLINES AND OTHER TRANSPORT PROVIDERS OR AUTHORITIES.

  5. WATER DAMAGE INCLUDING STORAGE IN DAMP CONDITIONS.

  6. NATURAL DISASTER (FLOODS, HURRICANE, EARTHQUAKES)

  7. DAMAGE CAUSED FROM REPAIRS OR MODIFICATIONS CARRIED OUT BY SOMEONE OTHER THAN AN APPOINTED KAPITANO REPAIRER.

  8. GENERAL MISUSE OR MISHANDLING.

RETURNS POLICY

KAPITANO PROVIDES A HEAVY DUTY CARDBOARD BOX TO THE CUSTOMER WHEN THE LUGGAGE IS SHIPPED FROM OUR FACTORY AND RECOMMENDS TO KEEP THIS CARDBOARD BOX IN THE EVENT OF A RETURN OR REPAIR. UPON RECEIVING AND INSPECTING THE ITEM, KAPITANO WILL DECIDE WHETHER THE DEFECT IS COVERED BY THE WARRANTY POLICY. KAPITANO WILL REPAIR AND REPLACE THE ITEM AT ITS OWN COST IF THE DAMAGE PROVES TO BE AN INHERENT MANUFACTURING DEFECT IF NOT THE CUSTOMER WILL BE ASKED TO PAY FOR THE REPAIRS VIA CREDIT CARD. THE CUSTOMER WILL BE NOTIFIED ON ARRIVAL OF THEIR ITEM, AFTER INSPECTION AND BEFORE SHIPMENT OF THE ITEM BACK TO THEM. CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARE COVERED BY THE WARRANTY POLICY TWO YEARS FROM THE DATE OF PURCHASE. INCIDENTAL DAMAGES ARE NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY.

CHANGE OF ADDRESS
KAPITANO CANNOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DELAYS CAUSED BY DESTINATION CUSTOMS CLEARANCE PROCESSES. SHOULD YOU WISH TO CHANGE THE SHIPPING ADDRESS, PLEASE DO SO WITHIN 4 WEEKS OF PLACING YOUR ORDER BY CONTACTING US ON SALES@KAPITANO.COM. PLEASE BE AWARE THIS MAY DELAY YOUR ORDER DEPENDING ON THE NEW SHIPPING ADDRESS.

TAX
FOR INTERNATIONAL ORDERS, A CUSTOMS DUTY WILL BE INCURRED (THE AMOUNT OF WHICH IS DETERMINED BY YOUR COUNTRY OF RESIDENCE/WHERE YOUR ORDER IS TO BE DELIVERED). KAPITANO IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PAYMENT OF THIS DUTY. FOR AN ESTIMATE OF THE DUTIES THAT MAY INCUR, PLEASE CONTACT DIRECTLY YOUR LOCAL FEDEX.

PACKAGE TRACKING
UPON SHIPMENT, YOU WILL RECEIVE A CONFIRMATION EMAIL WITH YOUR TRACKING NUMBER. YOU CAN TRACK YOUR ORDER DIRECTLY ON THE COURIER'S WEBSITE WWW.FEDEX.COM BY ENTERING THE TRACKING NUMBER PROVIDED.

DELAYS
UNEXPECTED DELAYS MAY OCCUR (DUE TO SEVERE WEATHER CONDITIONS FOR EXAMPLE, AS WELL AS DELAYS CAUSED BY CIRCUMSTANCES RELATED TO THE COURIER ITSELF). KAPITANO CANNOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR THESE DELAYS. SHOULD THIS UNFORTUNATE SITUATION HAPPEN, PLEASE CONTACT US ON SALES@KAPITANO.COM AND WE WILL DO OUR BEST TO HELP YOU.

FAILED DELIVERIES
IN THE CASE THAT AN ORDER CANNOT BE DELIVERED DUE TO A WRONG ADDRESS, THE DELIVERY WILL BE HELD AT THE COURIER'S WAREHOUSE UNTIL WE HEAR FROM YOU.

FAULTY ITEMS
GOODS ARE DEEMED FAULTY IF THEY ARE RECEIVED DAMAGED OR WHERE A MANUFACTURING FAULT HAS OCCURRED. ALTHOUGH EACH PRODUCT IS EXAMINED WITH THE UTMOST CARE BEFORE BEING SHIPPED, SHOULD YOUR ORDER BE DAMAGED UPON RECEIPT, PLEASE EMAIL US AT REPAIRS@KAPITANO.COM PLEASE NOTIFY US ASAP OF ANY DAMAGE THAT MAY HAVE OCCURRED. WE WILL OFFER TO REPAIR FAULTY ITEMS AT NO EXTRA COST.

INSURANCE
KAPITANO INSURES EACH PURCHASE WHILE IN TRANSIT UNTIL FINAL DELIVERY TO YOUR SPECIFIED ADDRESS. WE REQUIRE A SIGNATURE FOR ANY GOODS DELIVERED, AT WHICH POINT RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR PURCHASED GOODS PASSES ON TO YOU.
